Telegram doesn't show you @mentions from users who you have blocked, however they always show mentions when someone replies to you.

This plugin removes those mentions (in supergroups and regular groups) from users who you have blocked.

You might still receive notifications for these messages, but you won't see the mention (@) button for these messages.

Wouldn't it be better to only refetch when a possible mention could occur and if the timeout expired, instead of refetching only on timeout?
